Research:
For my animation, I will use a mobile app program called Flip-a-clip to draw out each frame. Halfway Reflection: I have utilized anticipation, slow-in/slow-out and squash and stretch in my animation so far. Video Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bazvZoR8AM4 I picked a game cover as my product because most of the designs are visually appealing and stand out on shelves. I designed my piece by drawing out the font on the cover, and editing it in photoshop, then traced the drawings on the front with photoshop. The most successful thing about my design was the contrast on the cover between the two sides, light and dark. If I would change anything, I would add a bit more detail on the cover's background.
My theme was a Legend of Zelda pattern. I picked it cause it had a lot of iconic symbols and items that would be worthy of a pattern. Out of all of them, the 3rd one is my favorite because it combines all the elements into one big pattern. If someone was starting this, I would recommend that they have a design in mind, as well as a pattern of choice.
The hardest part about this project was cropping each image, and getting the layers set up. If I were to change anything, I would change the poses to something more dynamic.
I worked with my classmate Susannah. I found the hardest part of this process to be working on the transition to each frame. I think the most successful part was the beginning and ending, as well as the fight scene between the stick figures.
